Integrated Marketing Solution (proposed group project)
Seattle's Pioneer Square District encompasses the birthplace of modern Seattle and the city's first downtown. The core of the Pioneer Square Historic Preservation District lies between Cherry Street to the north, 2nd Avenue to the east, Alaskan Way to the west, and S. King Street to the south. The neighbourhood takes its name from a triangular plaza near the corner of First Avenue and Yesler Way, originally known as Pioneer Place.
We gave Pioneer Square an identity that not only matches the look and feel, but also communicates the district's historical significance. In our solution, we focused on Pioneer Square during the late 19th century and early 20th century; a time when people were concerned about restoring and preserving the character, charm, history, and splendor of Pioneer Square. Our primary concern was to create ways of navigating Pioneer Square.
